The train journey crosses the Sacred Valley of the Incas, following the Urubamba River among mountains, cloud forests and Andean landscapes. After spending the night in Aguas Calientes, you will enter Machu Picchu accompanied by a professional guide who will explain the history, architecture and legacy of the archaeological sanctuary.
It is an excellent alternative for couples, families and travelers who prefer a more relaxed pace without long walks.

Detailed Itinerary
- Our transport will pass through your hotel between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., depending on the confirmed schedule of the train.
- We will travel to the Ollantaytambo railway station (or Poroy when it is enabled) to board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
- During the tour you will enjoy spectacular landscapes of the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River and the transition to the cloud forest. Upon arrival, a representative from Peru Cumbres will meet you and accompany you to your hotel.
- The afternoon will be free to tour the village, visit the artisan market, relax in the hot springs (optional) or enjoy the local cuisine. In the evening, the guide will hold a briefing to explain the details of the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Accommodation
- Hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- After breakfast, you will board the official bus to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
- You will take a guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, touring the main sectors enabled according to the circuit assigned on your ticket. The tour can include the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the agricultural terraces and other emblematic spaces.
- At the end of the visit you will have free time to take photographs or, if you booked in advance, make the ascent to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (optional and subject to availability).
- Afterwards you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will take you back to Cusco.
- Approximate arrival: between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
