4. Reservations

A reservation is considered confirmed only when:

  • Perú Cumbres sends an official confirmation by email or WhatsApp.

The company may request additional documentation or information to complete the reservation.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete personal information, including:

  • Passport or identification number
  • Date of birth
  • Contact information

All information must exactly match the official identification document used during the trip.

Perú Cumbres is not responsible for errors or omissions provided by the customer.


6. Prices

All prices are displayed in the currency specified during the booking process.

Rates may change due to:

  • Supplier price updates
  • Government taxes or regulations
  • Operational costs

Once a reservation has been confirmed and paid, the agreed price will remain valid unless a legal or government-imposed adjustment is required.

Any banking or transaction fees charged by financial institutions are the responsibility of the customer.


8. Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets

Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are issued by the competent Peruvian authorities and are subject to official availability.

Once issued:

  • cancellations and refunds may not be permitted according to current regulations and official policies.

Customers are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the personal information submitted before ticket issuance.

may result in denied entry without the right to a refund.


9. Train Services

Railway transportation is operated by authorized train companies.

Schedules may change due to:

Perú Cumbres acts as an intermediary and will provide reasonable assistance whenever possible but is not responsible for schedule changes made by the train operator.


10. Tourist Transportation

Passengers must be ready at the designated pickup location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Perú Cumbres is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Heavy traffic
  • Demonstrations
  • Road closures
  • Accidents
  • Weather conditions
  • Circumstances beyond our control

11. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the service booked.

Generally:

  • Machu Picchu entrance tickets may be non-refundable.
  • Train tickets are subject to the railway operator’s policies.
  • Hotel reservations follow each hotel’s cancellation policy.
  • Certain services may be subject to administrative cancellation fees.

12. Reservation Changes

Requests to modify a reservation are subject to:

13. No-Show Policy

If a passenger fails to appear at:

Perú Cumbres is not responsible for denied entry due to missing, expired, or invalid documentation.


15. Health Requirements

Passengers confirm that they are physically capable of participating in the activities booked.

  • Physical limitations

that may affect the services provided.


16. Force Majeure

Perú Cumbres shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Strikes
  • Social unrest
  • Road blockades
  • Government restrictions
  • Health emergencies
  • Pandemics
  • Archaeological site closures
  • Any decision issued by public authorities

Whenever possible, reasonable alternatives will be offered.

Perú Cumbres acts as both a tour operator and, where applicable, an intermediary between customers and third-party service providers.

Our liability is limited to the proper organization and delivery of the services directly contracted with our company, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Peru.
