04:00 – 04:30 | Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Our adventure begins early in the morning. Our professional team will pick you up directly from your centrally located hotel in Cusco’s historical center.
Scenic Drive to Cusipata & Breakfast
We will drive south for approximately two hours until we reach the district of Cusipata. Here, we will stop to enjoy a delicious, energizing breakfast to fuel up for the trek ahead.
The Trek Begins
After breakfast, we continue driving to the trailhead. From here, the upward hike takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will walk through striking high-Andean scenery with continuous views of the snow-capped Ausangate mountain and local wildlife.
Optional Horse Rental: If you prefer not to hike the full distance, horse-riding services can be hired directly from local community members at the trailhead.
Vinicunca Viewpoint (The Summit)
Upon reaching the top, you will have plenty of time to:

Concluding an epic day of trekking, we drive back to Cusco, dropping you off near the historical city center.
