Description

Explore Cusco’s newest colorful sharp mountain peak and immerse yourself in a spectacular, otherworldly landscape completely hidden from the massive crowds.

The Pallay Punchu Tour takes you on an adventure to discover one of the most striking and least-visited natural wonders in the Cusco region. Known as the New Rainbow Mountain or Sharp Mountain of 7 Colors, Pallay Punchu stands out due to its dramatic, jagged rock formations and sharp mineral stripes that beautifully mimic the intricate designs of a traditional Andean poncho.

Located in the remote province of Canas, this mountain offers a refreshing and peaceful alternative to Vinicunca: far fewer travelers, tranquil trails, and unmatched panoramic vistas looking down over the vast Langui-Layo Lagoon and the southern Peruvian Andes.

It is an exceptional option for travelers seeking raw nature, unique landscape photography, and a moderate trek in a completely authentic setting.
