Detailed Itinerary

  • Between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. we will pass through your hotel to start the trip to Machu Picchu.
  • The route crosses the Sacred Valley, ascends to the Abra Málaga (4,316 m s. n.m.) and then descends through the jungle eyebrow, offering views of mountains, waterfalls and forests.
  • After lunch in Hydroelectric, we will start a hike of approximately 11 km (2.5 to 3 hours) following the railway until we reach Aguas Calientes.
  • Upon arrival, we will settle in the hotel and in the evening the guide will offer an informative talk about the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

  • Very early you will climb to Machu Picchu.
  • You can make the climb by walking (about 1.5 to 2 hours) or take the official bus if you prefer greater comfort (optional).
  • After the entry you will make a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, touring the main authorized sectors according to the assigned circuit.
  • At the end, you will return to Aguas Calientes and continue walking to Hydroelectric to board the transport back to Cusco.
